The activity assistant provides meaningful opportunities to our residents by facilitating a wide variety of activities, events, and interactions as a part of the overall activities program.
The Activity Department’s mission is to provide an ongoing program of person-centered activities designed to meet the interests of and support the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident we serve. Activities are provided seven days a week and can be group, one-on-one, or individual in nature. Applicants must have weekend availability, with specific weekend schedules to be discussed during the interview process.
The activity assistant works under the supervision of the activity coordinator. This is a part time position at approximately 20 hours per week. The work schedule will be flexible based on scheduling needs, holidays, special events etc.
Previous activities experience is preferred, but not required. On the job training will be provided.
